Cockpit Lazarette

An aft compartment is very useful because you can store tools and all the cleaning utensils of the boat there. Nowadays, all sailboats come with them.  That is why  I decided to build a cockpit lazarette because originally the boat did not come with one. Also, inside the cabin  near the kitchen area we made a watertight bulkhead  that separates  the storage area of the  lazarette from the rest of the cabin. Then if water  enters the cockpit lazarette the cabin bilge does not flood.
